Bob Schumann Joins Unity Scientific

Brookfield, CT, February 6, 2013 – Unity Scientific announces the appointment of Bob Schumann as Director of Product Management and ATM Manager. As a senior member of the Marketing/ R&E team, his responsibilities include working with Marketing, R&E, Business Unit Managers, ATMs, Production and Unity’s Senior Management Team to specify, launch, and support new and existing product lines.

Bob has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Iowa and spent the early part of his career at a biochemistry laboratory in Pioneer Hi-Bred International. In this position, Bob performed many analytical assays including oil quality and amino acid analyses and began the NIR and NIT programs for grain and forage quality.

In 1997, Bob joined FOSS Analytical in product management roles for applications, hardware and software projects as well as global key account support. Bob later transferred to FOSS North America, as a Technical Manager focusing on networking, key account support and technical liaison with their headquarters in Denmark.

Bob lives in the greater Cincinnati area with his wife Johanna and three children.
